Bikombe Primary School is one of the oldest public schools in Muhanga. It is located and serves communities on the foothills of Ndiza in the Kiyumba sector.

The water shortage is a big problem for the school and the entire surrounding community. There is no piped water at this school or in the surrounding communities. Students and community residents have no clean drinking water and go to fetch it in the swamps, which are about 4 km away. Deploying a water kiosk at this far-flung and isolated school has a big impact on the school and neighboring communities.
