Young Social Innovators (YSI)

Given the increasingly young pool of labor, there is a growing need to explore alternatives to traditional job-creation strategies. ITF, in partnership with various countries from Asia, South America, and Africa, has engaged in the Young Social Innovators (YSI) project, which aimed to conduct a comparative analysis of youth issues, attitudes, and policies in relation to the social innovation processes from the perspective of various world regions and to promote the recognition of youth labor by building their capacity to empower young people to use social innovation in finding local answers to complex social and societal challenges in participating communities.
