In collaboration with Rang'ala sub-location administration and Simerro Youth Group, a community-based group operating in Rang'ala sub-location in Ugunja, Siaya County, Kenya, which was formed and formalized in 2002 as a self-help group registered under the Ministry of Gender and Social Services a water kiosk water kiosk was built at Simerro Market Center and a water station at Rangala Center. The group seeks to improve the living standards of marginalized and poor people in society, including people infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS, orphans, and the vulnerable. The group is composed of subgroups that are members of the community in the three locations. The group management is composed of community members and the local administration. The group has been taking part in teaching the community how to access safe drinking water. The Simerro Youth Group therefore partnered with ITF to construct a water kiosk
